Dr. Marie Jo Kane first started chiropractic practice in December 1978 in Philadelphia until August 1982.

Dr. Kane was an instructor of Biochemistry and Nutrition, Physiotherapy Part I and II class and laboratory, Chiropractic laboratory assistant, and post graduate education studies at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. She was a physiotherapy question contributor to the California State Board of Chiropractic, and the National Board of Chiropractic during September 1982 to 1984.

She returned to Philadelphia chiropractic practice, January 1985 to January 1994. While in Philadelphia she was President of the Natural Food and Health Association for 9 years. She was the chiropractor to Philadelphia's Zero Moving, a modem dance company. She taught a nutrition and an assistant athletic trainers course to a special group of inmates from 1985 to 1989 at Gratersford State Prison for Men. The students received a certificate of Recognition and Achievement from the Pennsylvania Academy of Chiropractic Physicians, and Letter from then Governor Bob Casey. Dr. Kane has treated Olympic and World Champion athletes. She has been Chief Team Physician of the East Coast Track and Field Event at Leigh University in Pennsylvania, Spring 1993, Holmesburg Prison Boxing Event, LA Marathon Triage March 1994. She has been a team doctor for numerous events over the years, and participated at the LA 1984 Olympics men and women marathons, and 2 man race walking events. Dr. Kane was first interviewed to be part of the Medical Team for the 1980 Moscow Olympics by Olympic Medical Board Chairman, Irving Dardik, M.D. The United States later did not participate in those Olympics due to governmental issues. She has been Education Chairman of the Pennsylvania Academy of Chiropractic Physicians, and was Education Co-Chairman of the Pennsylvania Acupuncture Society (Philadelphia Chapter) with Diong Low M.D.

Dr. Kane presently practices in Torrance, California.
